Design Protection Policy

Roslis Retail Pvt Ltd

Last updated:May 30, 2025

Protecting the integrity and exclusivity of our designs for our valued cardholders and members.

At Roslis Retail Pvt Ltd, our mission is to create fashion that is not only personal and original, but also protected — for the rightful owners of our work: our cardholders and members.

This Design Protection Policy outlines the intellectual property rights, legal safeguards, and enforcement measures we implement to preserve the exclusivity of Roslis designs.

1

💡 Originality Verification

Every Roslis garment and fabric design undergoes a rigorous creative and technological screening process before approval:

  • Original concept creation by our in-house design team
  • Global AI-assisted verification to ensure the design does not resemble existing works
  • Internal cross-reference with all past Roslis designs
  • Timestamped digital recordkeeping to maintain evidence of originality
  • Approval by our internal legal and IP team

Only after clearing this process is a design approved for production under the Roslis brand.

2

⚖️ Intellectual Property Rights

a) Design Rights

Many Roslis designs are registered under the Designs Act, 2000 (India), which grants us exclusive rights to the visual appearance and structural composition of garments, fabric layouts, and surface applications.

b) Copyright

All design sketches, digital artworks, product photographs, illustrations, and visual content on our website and promotional materials are protected under Indian Copyright Law and international treaties, where applicable.

c) Trademarks

The brand name "Roslis", our monogram, logos, and other trade dress elements are registered or pending trademarks of Roslis Retail Pvt Ltd.

3

🚫 Anti-Counterfeiting & Legal Enforcement

Roslis maintains a zero-tolerance policy for design theft, counterfeiting, and unauthorized reproductions. We actively monitor both online and offline markets for infringement and take appropriate action, including:

  • Cease and desist notices
  • Takedown requests to platforms and marketplaces
  • Civil claims for damages and injunctive relief under applicable laws
  • Criminal complaints, if necessary
4

🤝 Partner & Vendor Exclusivity

All Roslis production partners — including tailors, printing units, factories, and fabric suppliers — are contractually obligated through non-disclosure and non-replication agreements. Any breach of these terms will lead to termination of partnership and legal proceedings.

5

📄 Reporting Infringement
